THE AVATAR OF SYNTHESIS,

SHAMBALLA  and

THE NEW WORLD RELIGION

The Avatar will bring with Him the Will of God, which is :

-         The will-to-good

-         The will-to-peace, through understanding

-         The will to establish right relations between men and nations

This spiritual will is something of which humanity knows nothing ; it is hidden and veiled by the self-will of the individual and the group will of the soul. This Will is focused in Shamballa. The coming of the Great Avatar, in direct relation with our planetary Logos, will permit the revelation of the divine Will. This constitutes the major theme of the New World Religion, as Love is the base of the teaching of the Christ. Then, there is a  special link between the Avatar of Synthesis, Shamballa and the New World Religion, as a new approach to God and to service.

Shamballa is simply a word conveying the idea of a vast focal point of energies which are assembled and brought together by the planetary Logos in order to create a manifestation adequate to His unfolding intention and planetary service. Shamballa receives energy from various solar and extra-solar Entities. This major point of tension upon the planet represents the major receptive agent upon the planet, from the angle of solar inflow, but at the same time it is the main distributing point of energy, from the angle of the kingdoms in nature. The Shamballa force expresses itself in terms of Will, i.e., of divine purpose, latent in the mind of God since the beginning of time and the dawn of creation . Then, Shamballa is the place where the Will of God is focused and from which His divine purposes are directed.

            Of the Will and Purpose of God, humanity knows nothing. This energy of the Will is the most potent energy in the whole scheme of planetary existence. This dynamic and stimulating energy may be dangerous if it is not used in a good way.

            The Shamballa force has hitherto been transmitted via the Hierarchy. The problem of the Hierarchy at this time is to produce a wise and adequate fusion of the Shamballa and the hierarchical energies and thus temper destruction and bring to the fore the spirit of construction, setting in motion the building and rehabilitating forces of the second ray energy. This force has, during the twentieth century, made its direct impact upon humanity. The result of this first impact was the two world wars (1914-1945) with the destruction of an old and worn out civilization. A great opportunity has been offered to humanity to build a new world, with fraternity and with the desire to preserve the peace. This direct impact has again taken place in 1975, and also in the year 2000. The spiritual development of humanity permits men to receive this energy and its impact, free from the mediation of the Hierarchy. As time progresses, the impact of the Shamballa force will be more frequent because men will develop the power to stand and withstand it. Each time this energy strikes into the human consciousness some fuller aspect of the divine plan appears. Up to now, there has been no “responsive return”, and hence no circulation. But we shall eventually have a free circulation and a veritable vortex of force set up between the three centres.

            A powerful activity of the first divine aspect (that of will or power) enters into action. Its two subsidiary effects or qualities are :

-         The destruction of that which is undesirable and hindering in the present world forms (in government, religion and society),

-         The synthesizing force which binds together that which has hitherto been separated.

It is the energy which brings about synthesis, which holds all things within the circle of divine Love.

            The Shamballa force is a force which intensifies the Light by destroying all obstacles. Three emerging aspects of the Shamballa life, quality and energy are :

-         The Will which conditions the life aspect (synthesis of spirit, soul and body)

-          The Will which brings fulfilment of right human relations

-         The Will which finally conquers death (ultimate goal of life when fruition is achieved).

The influence of this energy will give birth to the New World Religion. Today we may notice the lack of interest in religion. The churches are relatively empty and young people refuse to go to church. But the fact still remains that human beings everywhere are searching for spiritual release and truth. The different churches have proved inadequate to the need of humanity. The presentation of divine truth, as given by the churches in the West and by the teachers in the East, has not kept pace with the unfolding intellect of the human spirit. The teaching is based on worn out theological interpretations  and on old ways to have relationship with the Divinity. Most of the religious organizations, characterized by materialism, are very often fanatical, sectarian, separative and denominational in their approaches to truth. The failure of the religious organizations throughout the world is hindering the revelation and the unfoldment of the spiritual life.

 People have lost their faith. The Light which the Buddha brought has been put out and the Love revealed by the Christ has been stunted. However, human beings everywhere ask for Light and Love, help and comprehension. They are expectant of a new spiritual Revelation.

            One of the purposes of the Christ is to build the New World Religion, based on several great and fundamental principles of living :

-         The fact of God

A synthesis will be made between the occidental faith in God transcendent, outside His universe and the oriental faith in God Immanent, deep within the human heart and in every created form.

-         Man’s relationship to God

The understanding of this relationship will enable men to recognize that we are all the children of God from One Father.

-         The fact of Immortality and of Eternal Persistence

This truth involves the recognition of two great natural laws :    

 . the Law of Rebirth

                                          . The Law of Cause and Effect (Law of Karma in the Orient)

The churches in the West have refused officially to recognize the Law of Rebirth. The churches in the East have over-emphasized these laws so that a negative, acquiescent attitude to life and its processes controls people. A right comprehension of these laws is necessary.

-         The continuity of Revelation and the Divine Approaches

According to this doctrine, a divine Messenger will come in response to the invocation of humanity. Another great Approach of divinity and another spiritual revelation are now possible.   

            The New World Religion will be a work of synthesis and love, based on unity and brotherhood : « The sons of men are one, and I am one with them ».

Today Invocation is of three kinds :

-         The wordless and crying appeal of the massed demand

®  prayer

-         The invocational spirit evidenced by religious sincere men

®  rituals

-         The invocation of aspirants and disciples who focus the invocative cry and appeal of the other two groups, giving it right direction and power

®  meditation

Þ  preparation to the new invocative work :

As the invocative system spreads and a greater alignment is attained, Shamballa will invoke energies outside the planetary life and the inflow of cosmic and solar energies will be much greater. It will also produce the advent or appearance of many Avatars, bringing with Them many and very different kinds of energies and qualities.

With the reappearance of the Christ, a new era or “divine epoch” will be instituted. The Avatar of Synthesis will draw very close to humanity and He will inaugurate the “reign of Avatars” Who will be embodied Purpose and spiritual Will.

The establishing of certain major festivals in relation to the Moon and in a lesser degree to the zodiac will bring about a strengthening of the spirit of invocation and the resultant inflow of evoked influences. There will be three such major Festivals each year, concentrated in three consecutive months (establishment of the three divine aspects), and nine lesser Festivals (divine attributes).

On the Way of Descending Approaches :

-         the Buddha, from the mental plane and also upon it, embodied in Himself the force and activity of the third Ray, the divine cosmic principle of Intelligence.

®  Path of Light

-         The Christ embodied the peace of inclusiveness, the force and activity of the second Ray of Love-Wisdom. He carried the divine approach to the astral plane.

®  Path of Love

Two great stations of energy and two major powerhouses of light have been established. The way is now opened so that the ascent of the sons of men can become entirely possible. They constitute the Temples of Initiation through which all disciples have to pass, through their individual re-enactment (on a tiny scale) of the cosmic approaches, engineered by the cosmic Avatars.

-         Later, will come an Avatar, Who will have a large measure of wisdom and of love, plus that “materialising power” which will enable Him to found a divine powerhouse upon the physical plane. He will carry the Will of God into manifestation. An aspect of the first ray principle will be anchored by Him upon earth.

When He comes forth, there will transpire a great appropriation by humanity of its recognized divinity, and the establishing upon earth of a station of light and of power which will make possible the externalizing  of the Mysteries of Initiation upon earth

®    Externalization the activities of the Hierarchy in certain possible respects

®    the first Initiation will then take place upon earth and will be no longer a veiled secret

So difficult is His task that the New Group of World Servers is being trained to assist Him.
